Design-Build Lessons Learned – and How ConsensusDocs Contracts Can Help
Thursday, February 21, 2013, 2:00PM - 3:30PM ET

Design-build is commonly used in today’s design and construction industry. Even with several years of common usage, recent court cases involving design-build projects provide valuable lessons learned. This webinar will highlight key contract terms and risk allocation concepts such as implied warranty, indemnification (hold harmless), differing site conditions, liquidated damages, reliance on bridging documents and bad owner provided data. Learn how best practices in contract drafting and administration can help avoid problem projects.  The expert panel of speakers will also provide insight on how different standard design-build contracts address these key risk allocation issues.

Attend this webinar and learn:
  • Take-aways from projects using design-build project delivery that recently led to court cases
  • How best practice standard design-build contract clauses and administration can help lead to success on design-build projects
