AGC Labor & Employment Law Council

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Labor and Employment Law Council (LELC) is a network of experienced construction labor and employment attorneys from across the U.S. who regularly represent local AGC chapters and member companies. The LELC is pleased to present its 28th Annual Construction Labor Law Symposium, a professional development and networking opportunity for attorneys and labor relations managers, this year with an added feature of an optional pre–symposium Multiemployer Pension Workshop.

Who Should Attend

This event is specifically for attorneys and labor relations managers.  AGC Labor and Employment Law Council members, other attorneys who regularly represent AGC chapters or member companies in labor and employment matters (in–house or outside counsel), labor relations managers employed by AGC member contractors or AGC chapters, and AGC chapter executives are invited to attend.

While participation by seasoned attorneys has ensured a high level of discussion at past symposiums – making the event an annual standard for senior–level construction labor lawyers – the program also offers a rare educational opportunity for junior partners and senior associates to learn more about traditional labor issues in the construction industry. To help make this opportunity more accessible and to encourage returning attendees to bring such colleagues with them, a registration discount is offered for multiple registrants from the same law office. A dinner discount is also offered to first–time registrants and their guests.
